November, November!

So, it appears that we have a number of writers in the FC. Writers FTW!!! A buddy of mine and Kai brought it to my attention that next month is National Novel Writing Month. I'm listed under my pen name Marcel Alexander and my goal is to write the first draft to the sequel of my first novel Moore For Less Investigations: The Kid.

Yay, NaNo time!

I'm listed under Ssomsie, and here's a link to my profile. Go ahead and add me if you're participating too! :3 (I must admit, I haven't participated in the forums in years, so consequently, I haven't seriously updated my profile in years, so there's a small construction zone going on with that page right now, as an FYI).

I'm doing .Forever Clone. Act II for my NaNo this year. (Well, I do some version of FC every year, to be fair.) So there's going to be lots of people dying, PTSD, and snark… Yay~ ^.^

Also, I personally never aim for 50k– I actually aim for around 65k, since that's where I want my books to end up. As such, every year, I go steal excel charts from around the interwebs to custom track NaNo stats. If anyone's interested in this year's, let me know and I'll post it up here!

Yay! I've buddied you back. I understand about writing more, my first book is slightly over 80k and The book I'm writing i'm doing for this is book 2 in the series. So realistically I need to write 2667 a day to complete the book, but we'll see where that extra 20- 30k comes from.

I aim for about 2400 a day. I've written up to 7k in a day before. I also learned (because of one of the Camp NaNo's) that I can write about 2k in an hour. …I might have learned this because I pushed off writing that day until 11:30 pm. Maybe. ;)
