To put it bluntly if something is on my mind that bothers me, I'm going to bitch about it. I recognize the fact the way this FC operates in gaining new members is to simply ask randoms without an FC and befriending them. This is how I came to be part of this group. I also recognize the sentiment in earning ones keep and being a participating member of the group.

As groups grow in size certain people have to be positioned into authoritative positions in order to organize things as they go and what I see is a great group of people with one centralized organization point based on one party.

Having a fate party is great and having an "all member welcome" policy is great too but it's really not great when your primary party fills up and others are supposed to run along and watch their FC slaughter through fates before you can even get a chance to land a hit making you unable to participate both in the banter and in the primary goal of gaining XP.

Twice now I've tried to participate in what is considered the raid nights. Both times were met with failure in either my group just deciding to quit the raid before it even begins or a decision made to do other raiding things of which I don't have unlocked.

To go a step further, the few times I've tried to join in on the TS side of the group and be more social I've been met with comments of "not enough space", "TS is full, clear out space". I'm no newbie to this style of play, I've done massive 50+ raids for the last decade of my gaming life, it would surely seem to me that size of which this FC is comfortable at is a level of which you've already attained.

Perhaps my few experiences are unique to me and maybe they are not. For the most part I continually feel like an odd man out in this group and I have a certain expectation-level of that being that I am so new compared to all of you who most of you clearly have an already developed bond. There seems to be a ton of great people in this group. You have helped me learn this game from fledgling to semi-dumb-fledgling and likewise I've done my best to pay it forward to the newer members who struggled just like I did.

I'm more than willing to help and participate in any way I can but often times it feels like the way this game is structured to get the specific classes you need for groups and everything after that is surplus to the initial goal of the first party. I also recognize there are many people playing my specific class who have either come before me and after me limiting further what I can accomplish or even help/provide to the group/FC in general. I don't want to feel like a surplus to this group and I also don't want to have to look outside of the group to accomplish the things you generally join and FC for.

It would seem what is necessary is to have a Primary and Secondary leader for things like Raids to coordinate for the totality of the FC and I really don't see any emphasis on this outside of one primary group. I would like to better understand what if anything I can do to facilitate a role in this group that doesn't make me feel like a backup if one of your primaries doesn't show up.

If your teamspeak is at it's max already, I fully understand and respect this and will not use it unless necessary, and if you have established your basic raiding groups beyond surplus I can also understand and respect this as well. It's very disheartening as a new player to be around a great bunch of people and feel like the sentiment is COME JOIN US, but sorry we're full right now.

Hine,

I seriously appreciate your feedback. For the TS issue, we're actually working on bumping up our server capacity (it's currently the lowest rate I believe). We didn't expect to run into the issue of having too many people in TS - which is our fault man. We're working on it, and it'll be sorted out soon actually.

I'll talk to the other officers so we can better coordinate raid nights and Fate parties, for sure. I don't want anyone in the FC to feel like they're watching from the sidelines. We created the FC because we had that issue in our previous FC. We truly want everyone to feel welcomed y'know? So I'll work on the raid night/fate night aspect as well. It's definitely a work in progress, and your feedback will help everyone in the FC. We'll incorporate a better organizational approach to facilitate these, and future issues.

Thanks again man, let us know if you have any other problems. We appreciate it.

I appreciate you listening to my bitch pissing and moaning, everybody who I've met in the group has been great people and I very much want to be a part of what you have going on.

I just also want to be able to contribute to the group as well and as a lower player with limited skill it's easy to feel like a detriment more than somebody who can help others. I'll try not to be so emo on the matter!

I'm sorry, you felt left out last night. I intentionally created Fate Party Mondays, so lower level players did not feel left out. I did end up creating a second group last night, but you declined to join Koha and I. I will make it a point to fill up with the lower level player first before adding any of the others to be sure. I felt as you did with my last FC, which is part of why I left and like I said the whole reason I created the event.

Hinedorf, I would like to personally apologize for the failure of raid night last Thursday. I was trying to put together parties and I couldn't get them put together fast enough and it fell apart. I am enlisting Albedo's assistance with getting Thursday nights working correctly.

I would also like to thank you for your input. We all want this FC to work and we need input like you have provided so we can make it better.

Last Thursday night road did not operate in the acceptable manner, but right now I'm in California and unable to really restructured raid parties. I will agree the current system no longer works and needs an over hall, its success was its own failure. I will be assinging core raid groups to people and set it up so that all groups have the operatunitys to grow and progress in the end game content. My goal and dream for this FC is to create bonds, to have fun, and help others be the best they can be.
I will be back in Georgia on blackfriday, and will log on Saturday.
I'm sorry for not getting to this sooner North California internet is bad.

Now for TS I have just up the account to 25 people erm…. About 5days ago, if we now are hitting 25 people I can increase it again, sadly I have not really been on TS since I have been in California, just a little when the wifi hot spot was good,
But I find it important for all members of the FC to be able to log on to TS and to be enjoy them selfs.

Also thank you for speaking up about this issue I relly do appreciate it, and I hope this helps comfort you on the problem, I really wish I could more right now, but I'll do my best to help fix this.

Best regards Al,
