So, I know it's not anime, but I don't feel like starting a manga thread….

Time for another segment of… Yoshio's Corner!

I just started up manga recently to help eat up time. So I'd appreciate any recommendations (besides stupid long series. I'm looking at you One Piece/Naruto/Hunter/Bleach. Ain't nobody got time for that)

But anyway, one I finished last night was really enjoyable! To me at least.

My thoughts in 50 words: I was browsing for a good comedy to read and came across this. It's not a comedy. Regardless, it's a really good story that will get you legitimately angry/happy/smad. Emotions will be felt.9.4/10. It's a drama, so it's not for people without emotions. word. word. word.

Not sure if you use the site but if you are an avid Anime lover like Raven and myself, then check out Kissanime.comt. 1080p streaming and massive amounts of different shows with constant updates on the hour with new shows/movies. Oh, and not sure if you know too, but yesterday I checked out the live-action movie for Rurouni Kenshin. If you know this anime yosh, then you know how freaking AMAZING it is and should watch the movie(s) if you haven't already. If you have not seen the anime, stop everything you are doing and go watch it! Omg it is one of the best! XD

A few shows I am currently watching on Kissanime:
Naruto (only because I refuse to read the last chapters in the manga and wait till the anime catches up)
Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu (Parasyte: The Maxim…..WATCH IT!!!)
Log Horizon Season 2

I was watching a lot more but they all had their finales back in november/december *cry*. I have a ton more recommendations but let me know what kind of Genre you like and we can chat up about them :D

Was Rurouni the dude with the reverse katana? Cause that was dope.

And holy shit Kiseijuu is such a great show! Same with Log Horizon…but I miss the old animators. The new ones are alright I guess, but some of the things just don't feel right.

I have just as many recommendations haha. I watch all genres except sports. I love slice of life/comedy most, however I'm always a fan of a good ol action/sci-fi/whatever. I even like dramas and romance haha.

Has anyone seen "Edge of Tomorrow" or whatever it's called with Tom Cruise?
They were showing it at work today and I rrealized it had the exact same fucking plot as a manga I read. That was the first time I seen the movie but everyone was wondering how I knew what was going to happen.

Turns out it's a rough adaptation of the manga "All You Need is Kill" or something along those lines. it's a good read and I recommend it to those who like action manga. Except the ending, it's sorta lackluster. Apparently the movie changed the ending to something different and Hollywood-esque

Ok so I know I'm normally out of the loop on cool shit, I had no idea what crunchyroll was when you were talking about it so I looked it up, and now I got myself a premium account so i shall be diving into lots of new anime!
